Jessica Leon D’Toste holds a Master of Architecture [M.Arch] and a Bachelor of Environmental Design [B.Env.D] degree, both from the accredited programs at the University of Manitoba. She served as the elected student representative of the Manitoba Association of Architects for two consecutive years and is an executive board member of Building Equality in Architecture - Prairie Region, an organization that aims to support, celebrate, and connect practitioners working in the city building industry across the Canadian prairies.

She has been among the award-winners of the international drawing competition ‘Drawing for the Design Imaginary' organized by the Association of Collegiate Schools of Architecture (ACSA). Jessica placed as a finalist in the ‘One Drawing Challenge international drawing competition presented by Architizer, as well as being awarded a commended in the digital category at the international drawing competition 'The Architecture Drawing Prize'. 

Her work has been Exhibited at the Carnegie Museum of Arts in Pittsburg, The Gallery of Student Art in Winnipeg, The Winnipeg Design Festival, The RAIC [Royal Architectural Institute of Canada] Festival of Architecture in Toronto, The Seoul's International Biennale of Architecture and Urbanism in South Korea, The World Architecture Festival [WAF] in Amsterdam and the Sir Soanne Museum in London among others.
